-I want to start makeing videos for YouTube but I dont have the money to buy a dazzle to record my ps3 gameplay so I wanted to know if theres something simeller to it but cheaper...10 points to the best answermost of these are made in china. and named something else by the manufacturer who purchases them from china. there is some popular ones that have surfaced to the playing field. dazzle is one of them and easycap is the other popular one. roxio notices this market and just released there version, you can look at theirs too - they are trying to make a marketing for this stuff. is you look on amazon or ebay or any other auction website you will find a slaughter house of copy cats of this product - ranging anywhere from $5 to $50.
most of this low level capture card record in low resolution of about 280p and no more than 360p
if i were you i would buy 2 at that price, because they wear out fairly fast.
when you get more money i would recommend to you:
hauppauge capture card 720p to 1080p OR
newelectronx hd pvr 480p to 720P OR
blackmagic intensity capture card 1080i
