Can I hook up a laptop to my TV with these cables?

-My TV has an S-Video Female port, I have a two sided S-video Male cable, and I have VGA Adapter to TV S-Video (female) RCA Out Cable for PC Video. I was planning to put one side of the male cable into the TV, and the other side into the female end of the VGA adapter. Will this work?
